The process of quality assurance and quality control begins at the planning stage, when analyzing the tasks and conditions of the project. Only then is the formalization of the requirements and the actual set of testing activities is performed.
Complex projects are not complete without a number of servers, using software such as Docker and Jenkins. Complex interface requires hallway testing.
Automating testing without proper pre-project preparation is not possible in principle.
